The Laboratory is a center of formation and interdisciplinary research with this institutional purpose:
– promote informatics and humanistics researches which, because of their interdisciplinary nature, found a difficult collocation in the researchment’s structures of the Ateneo
– promote the cooperation with Pisa’s other institutes and centers of research in the sector of informatic and human and social sciences
– to organize courses of formation and improvement of new technologies’ use
– to organize meetings between university’s members who will carry forward the researches and the initiatives (which has an informatic type) or also initiatives that has a national and international type, open for the industries’ and the job’s world
– To promote the scientific communication in all the sectors with new Medias
– To promote the open space publication and the technologies, in cooperation with the library system of ateneo
