Guidelines to design a brilliant poster

1. Title
The title should be detected immediately.
If a logo exists, place it near the title.
2. Subtitle
Written in bigger size than the other text, the subtitle follows the title. It is very short and clarifies the topic.
3. Paragraphs
Dividing text into paragraphs helps to better recognize the topics covered
4. Margins
Regular margins and spaces between elements facilitate readability and comprehension
5. Images
Choose few but explanatory high resolution images
6. Colours
Choose max 3 colours coordinated with the logo and pictures. Use bright colours for backgrounds and wider areas
7. Extra information
If extra information is required, add it in boxes written in smaller size
8. Logos
Place the logos of your institution and partners on a white background taking care of images alignment and proportion
9. Credits
Reserve an area for credits and special thanks
10. File format
The final format to print should be a pdf file, with CMYK colour profile and high resolution pictures (300dpi)
