To get started! – Tutorials of alphabetization to new technologies

A good starting point is to acquire the skills needed to produce content with any text editor, spreadsheet, or slide show presentation software, and have the basics for file management and sharing on the network.

“To get started!” is a suite of mini-courses for fast learning the main functions of some of the most used applications in the school.

The course was conceived and realized by Giulio Pietra Caprina in collaboration with the Digital Culture Laboratory as part of his three year thesis project in Humanities Informatics (University of Pisa).

the softwares of the suite are: OpenOffice Writer, OpenOffice Calc, OpenOffice Impress, GoogleDrive and Dropbox.

Each course consists of several video tutorials each accompanied by a text file that faithfully transcribes the transcript.
